The following Terms of the Competition, together with any Local Rules published by the Committee, apply to the Sports Legends Cup, a golf tournament organized under the “WORLD CORPORATE GOLF CHALLENGE 2025” and played by the Rules of Golf approved by R&A Rules Limited.

1.   ELIGIBILITY

All players must have and present, whenever requested, an updated handicap certificate issued by the Handicap Committee of their home club, recognized by the International Golf Federation.

The composition of the teams will be defined by the Committee. Each team will consist of 4 players: 1 Legend (the team captain) and 3 guests.

2.   FORMAT

VENUE AND DATE: Dongzhuang Beach&Golf Club (Parkland Course), October 21 and October 22

Shotgun, 08:30 am

FORM OF PLAY / NUMBER OF HOLES: Texas Scramble, 18 holes, Stableford Net

Note: Each player in a group tees off as normal. The best of these shots is then chosen to be used for the next shot. Each member of the team hits his or her shot from that spot until the hole is played out.

HANDICAPS: The playing handicap is ¾ of the course handicap.

The maximum playing handicap for men is 24 and for ladies is 30.

3.   SCORES RECORDING AREA AND SCORECARDS

The Scores Recording Area and the official Competition Board will be at the WCGC desk at Dongzhuang Beach & Golf Club, Shanghai, China.

At the end of each round, at least one of the players from each group must make his way to the score recording area to confirm, as well as sign the scorecards and report any occurrences.

The team’s scorecard is officially handed to the Committee when the team’s representative leaves the Scores Recording Area with both feet.

4.   DECISIONS OF TIES

In the event of a tie, the 1st prize Net will be awarded to the team with the lowest average handicap. If the tie persists, the team’s average handicap is calculated without the Legend’s handicap, with the tie-breaking in favor of the lower average handicap.

5.   RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION – COMPETITION CLOSED

When the results are on the competition board, the competition results are officially announced, and the competition is closed.

6.   RULES, COMMITTEE, AND REFEREES

All players must wear the polo provided by the World Corporate Golf Challenge Organizer.

The Organizer’s and Committee’s goal is to complete all the competitions as defined in these Competition Terms. The Committee reserves the right to change these Competition Terms at any time. The decision of the Committee is final in all matters.
